Paisi M, et al. - Following the PRISMA and ENTREQ guidelines, investigators analyzed 28 papers to determine the barriers and enablers to accessing the dental services to persons encountering homelessness in the United Kingdom. They observed barriers originated both from the lived experience of homelessness and the healthcare system. They identified different themes including complexity, emotions, and knowledge within homelessness and staff encounter, accessibility and organization issues related to the healthcare system indicating appropriate directions for future research, policy, and commissioning.
