Continuous glucose monitoring use and glucose variability in pre-school children with type 1 diabetes

Dovc K, et al. - In pre-schoolers with type 1 diabetes, researchers assessed the association between continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) use and glucose variability. For this investigation, data from the Slovenian National Registry were analyzed. The results obtained from this nationwide population-based cohort study indicate that, period among pre-schoolers with type 1 diabetes, the use of CGM was related to decreased glucose variability during a 5-year follow-up.
