Tsuchie H, et al. - Experts compared the promotion of bone healing between the two teriparatide preparations, daily or weekly injection, for atypical femoral fracture (AFF). Findings suggested a greater enhancement in the bone union with daily teriparatide injections vs weekly injections in complete AFF patients. They observed a similar significant difference in the fracture healing time even if the influence of bisphosphonate or denosumab usage was excluded. Among patients with incomplete AFFs, the two groups did not differ significantly.
