Neutrophils and neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio: Inflammatory markers associated with intimal-media thickness of atherosclerosis
Thrombosis Research Aug 09, 2018
Meng LB, et al. - In the present study, researchers examined the respective impacts of neutrophil count (NEU) and the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (N/L) on atherosclerosis (AS) and intimal media thickness by implementing the χ2, Spearman's rho test, and multiple linear regression to investigate the relevance between blood parameters and. They found that the NEU was associated with a intimal thickness significantly and can foretell the carotid intimal thickness precisely and sensitively. Data reported that the N/L was related to carotid media thickness and poor non-depression time and can forecast the carotid media thickness precisely and sensitively.
