Legriel S, et al. - Researchers performed this retrospective multicenter study to determine the clinical features, outcomes, and early predictors of cardiac arrest associated with convulsive status epilepticus. They examined 49 cases with convulsive status epilepticus–cardiac arrest and 235 controls. The factors were strong and early predicts cardiac arrest were relative hypoxemia, on-scene management complications, and drug poisoning as the cause of convulsive status epilepticus.
