Impact of weight loss on sperm DNA integrity in obese men

Mir J, et al. - Experts ascertained if weight loss in obese men improved their fertility with respect to DNA fragmentation index and morphology. Findings suggested a significant positive correlation of the weight loss with the percentage of DFI. After weight loss, there was a significant improvement in morphology. The significant relationship with adiposity was demonstrated by DFI and morphology in one of the largest cohorts of male fertility and obesity possibly contributing to subfertility in this population.
