Light therapy for older patients with non-seasonal depression: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Zhao X, et al. - Researchers undertook this meta-analysis to determine the effectiveness of light therapy among older patients with non-seasonal depression. Findings revealed light therapy to have a positive effect on geriatric non-seasonal depression. The efficacy of this treatment was influenced by the light type, the treatment time (3-week) and a certain range of light intensity.
