Secondhand smoke exposure and risk of incident peripheral arterial disease and mortality: A Scotland-wide retrospective cohort study of 4045 non-smokers with cotinine measurement

Lu L, et al. - Among middle-aged non-smokers, the associations between secondhand smoke (SHS) exposure and incident peripheral arterial disease (PAD), as well as mortality, were studied. SHS exposure was shown to be independently related to all-cause mortality and could be associated with PAD.
