Battlefield acupuncture to treat low back pain in the Emergency Department

Fox LM, et al. - Researchers, in this pilot study, assessed the feasibility of battlefield acupuncture (BFA) as a treatment for acute low back pain (LBP) in the Emergency Department (ED). Findings demonstrated that BFA was feasible as a therapy for LBP in the ED. Furthermore, data suggested that BFA could be efficacious in improving LBP symptoms.
