Ahuka-Mundeke S, et al. - This research was executed in order to gauge the immune response to the fractional dose of yellow fever vaccine in a large-scale campaign. An immune response was elicited from 66% of the subjects who were seropositive at baseline. Maximum individuals who were seronegative at baseline reported the effectiveness of a fractional dose of the 17DD yellow fever vaccine at inducing seroconversion. Hence, the use of fractional-dose vaccination was recommended for outbreak control.
