Kessler CS, et al. - In patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA), the efficacy of Ayurvedic treatment vs conventional conservative care was assessed. More pronounced changes were noted in the Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis (WOMAC) index from baseline to 12 weeks in the Ayurveda group as compared to the conventional group. Authors concluded that for the reduction of knee OA symptoms, Ayurvedic treatment was beneficial.
