Zheng H, et al. - The effectiveness and safety of acupuncture were evaluated in managing chronic functional constipation (CFC). For improving stool frequency and stool consistency in CFC, the 3 acupuncture treatments (He acupuncture; Shu-mu acupuncture; He-shu-mu acupuncture) were as effective as mosapride.
