Johnston L, et al. - The upshot of social support on HIV risk and protective factors were inspected among young males who have sex with males (YMSM) in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. The yielded findings supported interventions designed to leverage social support networks for raising the HIV knowledge and decreasing the coerced first sex among YMSM. Not a single risk or demographic profile incorporated all YMSM. Successful programs and policies were recommended to take the specific attributes and social environment of YMSM, into account especially, the locations in order to effectively address HIV risks.
