Sumida K, et al. - In order to determine changes in albuminuria and subsequent risk of incident kidney disease, experts carried out this study. A linear association between relative changes in albuminuria over a 1-year interval and subsequent risk of kidney outcomes was observed. These outcomes supported additional studies to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of the observed associations.
