Effect of renal transplantation on cognitive function in hemodialysis patients: A longitudinal study

Yogesh K, et al. - This longitudinal study was undertaken to examine an effect of renal transplantation on cognitive function (CF) in hemodialysis patients. As documented by prolonged P300 latencies, end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) patients demonstrated impaired CF. Data displayed normalization of P300 latencies post-transplantation. It indicated a role of uremic toxins in CF impairment.
