Male urinary paracetamol and semen quality

Smarr MM, et al. – Researchers analyzed the association between paracetamol and its metabolite p–aminophenol quantified in a single spot urine and semen quality among 501 male partners of couples planning for pregnancy. The outcomes of this research highlighted that adult male urinary paracetamol is correlated with sperm motility and DNA fragmentation, although the metabolite, p–aminophenol, is predominantly correlated with sperm head morphometry.
