Butzler MA, et al. – Researchers developed and evaluated a simple and rapid DNA extraction method for Chlamydia trachomatis detection from urogenital swabs. It utilized filtration isolation of nucleic acids (FINA) sample prep method. A pilot study of 40 clinical specimens yielded 100% sensitivity and specificity.
