Rittenberg L, et al. – The target of this study was to assess the effectiveness of kenalog injection into Hunner's lesions. The researchers concluded that the use of a corticosteroid could be beneficial to symptom control and improvement in the quality of life of interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome patients. 12 weeks post injection, patients had improved frequency and nocturia.
