Wu JSA, et al. – An appraisal was carried out of the skin diseases in the indigenous population. An improved knowledge of the distribution of common dermatoses among various ethnic groups and villages in Xingu Indigenous Park (XIP) would assist in the prevention of skin infections and skin cancer. Moreover, it could enable the development of skin disease guidelines that could aid the local indigenous health professionals.
