Lymphocytic hidradenitis: A distinctive histopathological finding of annular erythema of Sjogren's syndrome

Hsu HC, et al. – This study entailed an exploration of the clinical features and associated underlying medical conditions of isolated lymphocytic hidradenitis. It was discovered to be associated with annular erythemas of Sjogren's syndrome. Systemic survey for sicca symptoms and work up for autoimmune diseases, with the inclusion of antinuclear antibodies, SS–A, SS–B antibodies, cryoglobulin, lymphoma, viral and autoimmune hepatitis would assist in arriving at the correct diagnosis.
