Epidermolysis bullosa acquisita and anti-p200 pemphigoid as major subepidermal autoimmune bullous diseases diagnosed by floor binding on indirect immunofluorescence microscopy using human salt-split skin

Goyal N, et al. – The target of this research was to analyse the clinical and immunological profile of patients with a floor–binding subepidermal autoimmune bullous disease, via indirect immunofluorescence microscopy. It also focused on determining the target antigens in them. Despite the indistinguishable nature of the cases from bullous pemphigoid, data brought to light a floor–binding pattern on indirect immunofluorescence using the salt–split skin.
