Radial extracorporeal shockwave therapy for the treatment of finger tenosynovitis (trigger digit)

Malliaropoulos N, et al. – A retrospective study was being performed to assess radial extracorporeal shockwave therapy (rESWT) as a treatment option for stenosing tenosynovitis of the digital flexor tendon (trigger digit). Findings offered preliminary proof that rESWT is an effective treatment for trigger digit. Nonetheless, these findings need to be confirmed in randomized controlled trials.
