Determination of the time for improvement in semen parameters after varicocelectomy
Andrologia Nov 09, 2020
Pazir Y, Erdem S, Cilesiz NC, et al. - A retrospective study was conducted to ascertain the time for improvement in semen parameters after varicocelectomy. Researchers included a sum of 175 patients over 18 years of age, who had undergone microscopic inguinal varicocelectomy in a tertiary centre between 2005 and 2016 and had post‐operative follow‐up data of at least 12 months. The decision of treatment strategies, such as assisted reproductive technologies and waiting for spontaneous pregnancy can be based on the prognostication of the time for improvement in semen parameters for the candidates of varicocelectomy.
