Modi P, Kumar S, Mishra A, et al. - This study was undertaken to investigate the surgical technique of dual kidney transplantation in ipsilateral iliac fossa using the da Vinci Si robotic platform. Researchers applied dual kidneys from expanded criteria deceased donors in single recipients using a robotic platform in 6 recipients. Six individuals had dual robotic-assisted laparoscopic kidney transplantation (RKT) between January 2013 and December 2017. This study's findings demonstrate that applying 7 cm Pfannenstiel incision, dual RKT with common iliac and external iliac vessels is technically feasible.
