Clear cell renal cell carcinoma: Machine learning-based computed tomography radiomics analysis for the prediction of WHO/ISUP grade

Shu J, Wen D, Xi Y, et al. - A total of 164 low grade and 107 high grade clear cell renal cell carcinomas (ccRCCs) were retrospectively reviewed in this study in order to assess the performance of machine learning (ML)-based CT radiomics analysis for differentiating between low grade (WHO/ISUP I-II) and high grade (WHO/ISUP III-IV) ccRCCs. Seven corticomedullary phase characteristics and seven nephrographic phase characteristics were chosen. It was found that to prognosticate the WHO/ISUP grade of ccRCCs preoperatively, ML-based CT radiomics analysis could be utilized.Go to Original
