Telengana junior doctors boycott outpatient services to protest party leader's announcement

Hundreds of junior doctors from five prominent government colleges in Telangana boycotted services to show their protest against TRS leader KT Rama Rao’s assurance to rural doctors that they will be provided with training and certificates for practice.



The announcement was made during a public meeting held earlier this month. Many house surgeons from Osmania Medical College, Gandhi Medical College, Kakatiya Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences-Adilabad, Government Medical College-Nizamabad protested this by shutting outpatient services for a day.
