Poli G, et al. - This study aspired to estimate whether nucleotide oligomerization domain-like receptors (NLRs) show alterations during Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) instillations. The importance of NLRP4 and NLRP9 in urothelial carcinoma had been outlined. Playing a relevant role in decision making for early radical surgery, the assessment of NLRP4 and NLRP9 expression levels could help to predict the BCG failure.
