Filho LT, et al. - The physicians performed this systematic review to evaluate the accuracy of Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL) as a biomarker for acute kidney injury (AKI) in children. They proposed that for the early detection of AKI in children, NGAL levels could be an important biomarker.
