Clinical outcome and prognosis of young patients with mycosis fungoides

Pediatric Dermatology Aug 17, 2017

Virmani P, et al. – This research investigated the clinical outcome and prognosis of young patients with mycosis fungoides (MF). The data revealed that progressive disease was related to older age, African American race, the poikilodermatous variant, and advanced–stage disease. The hypopigmented variant served as a common presentation in young patients and exhibited an indolent disease course. An overall favorable prognosis was affirmed in young patients with MF.
