Early experience with salvage retzius-sparing robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy: Oncologic and functional outcomes
Urology Jan 08, 2021
Madi R, Sayyid RK, Hiffa A, et al. - This study was sought to present feasibility, safety, and continence outcomes using the Retzius-sparing approach in the salvage setting (sRS-RARP). Researchers included a total of 26 individuals who had undergone robotic salvage prostatectomy at the institution from January 2012 to May 2020 by a single surgeon. Early experience implies that in comparison with the sRARP approach, sRS-RARP was found to be feasible, oncologically safe, and may offer improved continence.
