Bradshaw A, et al. - In this retrospective study conducted of vasectomies at San Diego Veterans Administration Hospital and UC San Diego Health between 2006 and 2018, experts estimated postvasectomy semen analysis compliance and evaluated obstacles to completion. Poor postvasectomy semen analysis compliance was exhibited by the individuals irrespective of preprocedural counseling. Thus, provided that distance and time constraints limited compliance, for men undergoing a vasectomy, including home-based semen testing may enhance the quality of care.
