Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice Mar 21, 2019

Lee CY, et al. - In this retrospective cohort study involving 39,384 patients with new-onset DM, researchers examined the association between diabetes mellitus (DM) and periodontitis. Cox proportional hazard model has been used in patients with DM to analyze the risk of periodontitis. According to results, a correlation exists between DM and periodontitis.
